Navy F. Banvard is a founding principal of the award winning Van Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh, AIA, architectural firm. Prior to forming this firm, he was first an Associate then Partner of Johannes Van Tilburg & Partners. Mr. Banvard is a recognized expert in the area of landplanning, housing design and the creation of liveable communities. His work includes the design and management of over one hundred completed residential projects that have provided over thirty thousand homes for all segments of the market, including senior and "affordable" communities. During his career to date, his projects have garnered nearly thirty design awards. In addition, Mr. Banvard has presented educational seminars to the building and design professions, and has served as an expert witness on several occasions.
